Three?Arizona State University?ROTC scholarship awards totaling $6,000 were presented this year during the Chapter luncheon at McCormick Ranch Golf Course on Saturday, the 16th of April?2016.

Midshipman?Chance Callister, USNR, received our inaugural?ROTC scholarship award which was presented by chapter member Captain Dave Price, USN (Ret).? Captain Price,?incidentally, is the former commanding officer of?ASU’s NROTC program.? Midshipman Callister, a U.S. Army combat veteran of Afghanistan,?desires to become a naval pilot and astronaut.

The following two scholarships were presented by chapter member Colonel Pat Dale, USAF (Ret).? Pat is the?chair of our chapter’s golf tournament, a major source of?contributions to our scholarship fund.

Cadet Major Forrest Babbitt, USAFR, aspires to become an Air Force?pilot and/or to serve in a field or assignment?where he can use his foreign language skills.

Cadet Lt. Colonel Nicole Berg, USAFR, hopes to serve as a Special Agent of the Office of Special Investigations (OSI).
